A client of Retensa is looking to hire a Director of Client Services (Wealth Management) based in New York City. Local candidates preferred to apply as this position requires being in office. Employment eligibility to work with Hurley Capital in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.

Your daily routine will include interaction with various clients managing account openings in coordination with custodians. You will work directly with the CEO, providing executive support as needed and managing office operations. You will need to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to complete assignments in line with the company’s activities and goals. Job Responsibilities:

  1. Handle account administration tasks, including account openings and liaising with Schwab and Fidelity.
  2. Produce and manage documents with meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Serve as the first line of defense, answering calls with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  4. Assist with compliance-related tasks under the guidance of Hurley Capital’s legal team.
  5. Manage office operations and provide executive support as needed.
  6. Demonstrate a personable and sociable demeanor, fostering a positive work environment.
  7. Maintain a high level of responsiveness and availability to meet the team's needs.
  8. Uphold integrity and trustworthiness in all interactions.
  9. Collaborate on creating presentation decks and formatting newsletters.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of industry experience, savvy in financial administration or financial services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (accounting, finance, business administration)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must exhibit ability to take direction well and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Fast learner bringing a problem-solving mindset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with excellent rapport building capabilities
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills, works efficiently, and is able to manage multiple priorities
  • Maintains a high standard of ethics and unwavering integrity

  • Strong interest and desire to contribute to a growing business
  • Possesses discretion and appreciates confidentiality and carefulness at work
  • Familiarity with eMoney and experience dealing with custodians such as Schwab or Fidelity is preferred

Compensation Range: $75K - $90K; Competitive based on experience and skill levels
